When the remote control begins to malfunction, he is forced to deal with the consequences. It is an interesting concept, but it seems forced. The first half of “Click” tries too hard to be funny; the second tries too hard to be sentimental. It is short enough to be enjoyable.

When his childish co-workers find out about his virginity, they set out to turn Andy into a “man.” The attempts, mostly disastrous, are one hilarious sequence after another, most of which are absolutely disgusting. Things take an odd turn when Andy falls for Trish (Catherine Keener) who decides they shouldn’t have sex until they have completed at least 20 dates. That is fine for Andy, though his pals do not give up on their quest.
